THE Health and Wellness Conference and Expo (HWONFEX) 2025 returns for its fourth staging on Sept. 5-7, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
With the theme “Go and get better: Regenerative tourism recharges all,” the three-day event will showcase the country’s top health and wellness products, services, and destinations, highlighting the Philippines as a world-class wellness tourism hub. Visitors can consult experts on integrative medicine, nutrition, psycho-emotional therapy, spiritual healing, fitness, beauty, and traditional Filipino remedies like hilot. The Department of Health will offer free vaccinations to early attendees.
HWONFEX also features a business-to-business platform connecting startups with established wellness entrepreneurs, fostering learning and partnerships. According to the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), the Philippine wellness market was worth US$43.3 billion in 2023, ranking No. 23 globally and No. 8 in Asia-Pacific.
Sessions will also tackle workplace wellness, showing how healthy environments boost productivity.
Co-presented by the Wellness Tourism Association of the Philippines with the DOT and PITAHC, and supported by DOH, TPB, and Pagcor, HWONFEX 2025 promises benefits for visitors seeking healthier lifestyles and entrepreneurs eyeing a fast-growing global industry projected to reach US$9 trillion by 2028.
